Found a 87 XJ6 VDP series 3 Perfect
in every way with 15,800 all paper work and manuals and special wool rugs. The seller will go no lower than 11,750. I drove it and it runs very well. Not a spot on ithe car. The owner has driven it about750 miles a year since he had it for the last 5 yearsWhat do you all think?I am ready to buy it on Tuesday. Here is a picture:

it's hard to price those 'time capsule' cars, but that sounds like too steep of a price to me. You could probably find the same year and model in good condition (not perfect) for half that price - good luck either way

these cars are pretty much worth what your willing to pay
and wenchuan2008they do not have ride leveling suspension!
if you plan on buying it for an everyday car
think Maintenance
have you ever heard of "Lucas"
aka Prince of darkness
but seriously if you really love the car then buy it
have a Jag or british car shop inspect it for you FIRST
TRUST me on this
Hope this helps

Depends on what your going to do with the car. If you plan on keeping it, and keeping it concours, or there abouts, probably not a bad price. Try one of the cars mentioned, for half price, and compare the price of it after bringing it up to the same condition. Probably about the same, with lots more physical work. Kinda like, pay me now, or pay me later. These cars are more of a hobby than pure transportation. If you enjoy the car, and appreciate it, then its not a bad deal. Everybody seems to know where all these half price cars are, but when you look at them, they all seem to have to same level of work to be done. So, suit yourself on this one.
