fuel leaking from throttle body to airbox hose
Hello Everyone,
I'm new to the forum. I have a 1991 vanden plas. Normally purrs like a kitten. But it recently started sputtering and the engine would stop. I found that fuel was leaking from the throttle body to airbox hose. My question, is it normal for fuel to be in the throttle body to airbox hose. If not what could be the cause. Thanks in advance for your help. |
Might be better posting in the XJ40 forum, the one for your car, unless it's an XJ12, of course.

Firstly, welcome to the forum.
When you get a minute please do an intro in the New Members Area. Your'91 sounds like a 6 cylinder to me, and if that is fact, then it is known in Jaguar talk as an XJ40 Series. Confused?, so where we all in the beginning. A repost in the XJ40 section will get quicker, more specific responses than in here. In the meantime, I am not aware of any fuel anywhere directly related to the throttle body on that engine. |
Thanks Frazier, will do.
