I would like to have photos and explanations of the fuse panels in a 1990 xj12 convertible...I guess they will be shown in the owner manual which I cannot get anywhere. Many thanks ahead.

I suspect you actually have an XJS V12 Convertilbe, not an XJ12

Go to the XJS section. At the top is a sticky thread titled "How To" links...or something like that. In there you'll find a downloads section with lots of 'tech guides'. I'll wager a week's pay there's something in there for your 1990 XJS that will answer your question
