Default Headliner sag? 87VDP

This is my 2nd Jag and now this headliner is also starting to sag. Do I have to replace it or does anyone have a solution?

Thanks

Just replace it. Personally, I've never heard of any DIY, in-car fixes that worked.

Cheers

I should add that many owners *replace* their headliners themselves. The headliner board can come out of the car thru one of the rear doors if your careful and gentle with the bending. You can buy the material from an upholstry shop for $50 or so.

I am about to tackle the same issue myself. It is a pain to remove from my understanding but that's not what im worried about. Im more concerned with what adhesive to use on the new material going on. It would have to be a commercial grade spray on or something, I wouldn't just pick up just anything at the local walmart. It has to stand up to the heat of the blaring sun a quarter inch away and up in the hottest part of the cabin, and adhere something which gravity is pulling against, and for a long time to boot. You can bet Jaguar used commercial grade adhesive and it failed, you can bet your standard m77 won't work either.

Time to talk to some local upholsterers, get some advice or fork over the dough.
