This might have the wood pieces you are looking for. As for the fan motor, ken@britishparts.com or JagtechOhio might be able to help you.

kojack, check with ken@britishparts.com. He should be able to get you both of those pieces that you are after. If he can't get you the fan assembly, then check out http://www.jaguarparts.com. The Jag Parts site is a Jag dealership out of Cleveland OH.

I have seen alot of Dash kits for sale but have u tried to remove your existing dash and have it re-done by chance? You can really have some great work done and make it unique.

I agree. If your wood isn't gouged or cracked, etc. I would just strip the laquer off, fine sand, stain and use a very high quality laquer to refinish it.

As far as I know, all the woodwork in these cars is veneer. No actual shaped wood, except for the center dash and that's multiplex with veneer and laquer.

I bet the blower fan is not bad, only needs a good vacuuming and the two wire connections tightened.

in the worst case, you might need to replace the Blowers Relay.

since you are going to have to remove the blower Case either way, you might as well clean and test the fan motor before buying another one.

Any used dash fascia will have deteriorated by now, they all do. If you want a professional job, contact Saul at: British Autowood | Dashboard and Woodwork Restoration he's an expert at restoring wood parts for Jaguar / Rolls Royce / Bentley / Mercedes / Aston, etc.

Kojack:

Where are you? Your location means a lot as to where you might find the stuff you need. My guess is USA?

If so, David Boger at Everyday XJ in NC. Good guy lots of Jaguar stuff, used and NOS.

Redo a sourced spare or send it out and not deter the use of the car as long.

On another forum, a Jaguar steward used a furniture type finish. A bit different, but very nice.

Mine responded in situ to a cleaning ands application of a high carnauba wax. Perfect, not quite, but more than presentable. Time for another application.

PS!

Welcome aboard !!!
