Ignition wire routing and OE clips
My ignition wires are like twisted spaghetti over top of the engine. I would like to properly route them using OE or aftermarket clips to avoid any ignition crossover.
Does anyone have a diagram or even a picture of how these were routed from the factory? Are OE clips available still or is aftermarket the best option at this point? |

Here's how I had mine. I don't know if that's *exactly* how the factory routed them right-down-to-the-last-millimeter, but it's close.
AFAIK the clips are still available. They break if you look at them the wrong way. Cheers DD |
Whow, Doug ! Is that your car ? It looks to be absolute perfection !
For those that cannot see, the ign. lead clips look like combs with the leads slotting between each gap in the "teeth". As I remember there are two or is it three, each one shorter than the previous one as the leads go off to each plug |
Sold it a few years ago, Fraser. It was a nice one....147k miles at the time that pic was taken. But I lavished it with lots of love (that is, lots of labor and money!) to keep it nice.
