Yeah, interesting in an Ugly sort of way......
It wouldn't be found anywhere near my garage!

Reminds me of an early '70's Camaro. Except that lower grille. Damn! That's just plain fugly, IMO.

And it's a replica?

I did a project like that once. It was complete awesomess inside my head and I was convinced I was on the right track and swore it would be the best anyone had ever seen! what I failed to take into account is my 1 car garage gave me a very limited view point. The big day when I pulled it out of the garage I was rewarded with a car that looked worse than it would have had I just left it alone . But the reward was in the journey! I learned alot and that car went like the wind! I'm thinking this car falls in that category. Because one thing is for-sure there is a great deal of work in it.!

The big lower grill overpowers the nice grill that makes the front end of a Series II. Too over the top for me. But she sure is unique!

So the original XJ6 was subjected to a redesign of the bodywork by a famous Italian design house team / committee... and to think some owner in his/her garage is going to improve upon it with some radical restyling ? Really ?

Lets not be so hard on this car... it's one of the best Broadspeed coupe replicas I've seen.

Sometimes purpose built racers based on productions models that were never intended to race are not the most attractive to look at. Compromises have to be made for performance.

Yeah, and the one you posted isn't *quite* so ugly, only because the racing profile is broken up by stripes and color blocks. On the track I'm sure it's impressive, but a solid color sitting in someone's driveway is still Ugly.

This broadspeed replica made it to TV. Solid color too. I kinda like it. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. No?

That car is ugly as hell, but a 6 litre Tom Walkinshaw Racing engine...that's just WOW!

If it truly is one of TWR's 450 hp (336 kW), naturally aspirated 24-valve V12 engines of 5993 cc like in the TWR XJR-15 Le Mans racer, it's quite the engine for a series 2.....
