Jaguar XJ6 series 3 1991 Direct injection
Hi Friends
My problem is probably not worth a new thread, but for me it`s a little bit annoying.
When the engine is cold it starts with the first try. After I have driven a while (30 min) The engine has warmed up a bit. Go in a shop and buy a newspaper maybe. Try to start the engine again. Grrrrrrrr
it takes 3 to 5 turns before starting. I would appreciate any advice on this problem.

Bob, the first step is to properly identify your car so that you can be directed to the correct section for technical advice.
The last Series III XJ6 was built in April 1987.
A "1991" XJ6 would fall into the "XJ40" category.
Each type has its own section.
Can you please confirm what you have?
