Looking for XJ

I am new to the forum. Hello, I am looking to purchase a 1976 XJ 6 or 12 (4 door). I am looking for one with a good body. It doesn't have to run. It is ok if it has a bad engine or transmission. I appreciate any help you can give me. Can you suggest any site that i should go to to look for this type of vehicle? I am in New Orleans, but i will travel for the right car.

Thanks
Mark

If there is a will, there is a way.

They are out there. I recently found and purchased this rust free coupe shell. I found it old fashioned way. Called around and spoke to people.

Very nice!
I think that it would be so cool to convert a coupe into an electric super car, with a lot of aluminum suspension parts. Could build it with 600Lbs. of torque and 0-60 speed in 3 seconds. A Japanese battery research lab has developed a proven battery that has 3 times the power density as currently produced lithium batteries. They can also be charged in less than five minutes with very little heating. They just began issuing licensing for manufacturing.
