i lowered my front on XJS , used steel spacers and it is surprising how much 1/4" inch made lower!
but it also raised the rear up about the same amount, maybe more , XJS has a lot of over hang on rear!
it seemed to pivot from the rear wheel centers!

When I did my Chevy conversion I had the same problem.
I resolved the issue by removing the spacers from the coil spring (2 on each side) and 1 1/16 grade 8 washers at the spring pan. From this to this spring spacers

So Sanchez, you just took out the upper spacers and then added the washers to the spring plates to lower the plate a little? The reason I am asking is I will be doing this to the 1974 car I just got because it has had the 350 swap done and sits high in the front. Please let me know and thanks.

After driving the car around for a couple of months, the springs settled and I removed the grade 8 washers I had added at the spring pan.
You will have to design a tool to remove the coil springs from the car. front spring removal tool
