MAF Issues or do i need to reset computer?

I tested my AFS/MAF sensor to diagnose my FF 44 code. Im checking all my components to rule things out. Sensor checked out OK, but when I reconnected the plug and tried to start engine, ALL of the engine electronics were literally randomly clicking on and off. Needless to say the car won't start now. It ran fine before I tested the sensor. I also replaced the o2 sensor just before the test. The car has never done this before. HELP!!!!!!!!!

hi, this forum is for the Series 1 through 3 XJ-6. 1968 to 1987.

check the list of forums to post your question in the right forum for your car.

Disconnect the battery cables, wait 30 minutes, reconnect the cables and see if it starts.

Jaguar model designations get confusing. If you have a 1991 XJ6 (do you?) then post in the "XJ40" section.

Cheers
