My turkey is done!

The little button popped out. That means that it's ready right?

Do I understand correctly that this coolant level sensor just sticks into this rubber grommet? Into a sealed, pressurized overflow tank?

I strapped it in place with some duct tape ( Don't leave home without it. ) since I didn't have baling wire. Tried to keep the sticky off the tank and I'll order a new grommet as soon as I find one. Is there anything more that I should do to keep this in place? Lost almost a gallon of coolant quickly just sitting at the light where it came on. Fortunately there was a parts store on the next block.

You can carve when ready.

Seriously, looks good. Let us know how things work out

Yep, thats how it works.

The grommet gets dry and wrinkly as it ages, as do we humans.

New grommet, good to go.

Release the pressure cap to the 1st click position, thus releaseing the pressure on the cooling system, and then only gravitational (big word for me) flow will leak out until the repair is done with.
