Mysterious Console Wiring Brown/Slate

Hi- 1987 XJ12 Canadian model. Had to take the console out for some AC repair and I now have some "extra" Brown/Slate NS wires. The wiring diagrams show this is fuel pump relay related, can't find anything in the console it would attach to. Interestingly, some time ago the fuel pump relay stopped getting a signal from the ECU and I was forced to jump the relay. It's been like that for year(s) so possibly something is missing but I doubt it because that problem was rather sudden.

Anyway, what do these brown/slate wires under console hook up to? I'd presume other brown slate wires if there were any!

If its on the left hand side then it sounds like the over ride for the coolant temp sensor that turns on the blower motor on when the coolant come up to temperature.

This was stupid... a careful examination of tape residue revealed the two white green wires don't plug into each other. The female end of the white green is abandoned, the two brown slate connect with the male white green, and the skinny white goes into the thick white. That all goes to a 45 second timer. Along the way one of the brown slate wires turns white, and the white wire presumably enters a black hole. Whatever, it runs.
