I have a 1984 XJ6. The tag on the drivers doorreads: paint code HEN, but he trim code is blank.

I believe that is the Buckskin. Looks to dark to be Biscuit or Doeskin.

thank you. I have been on your website and I have not been able to find two obscure parts. Can you help?

1. The 3rd rear brake light in the window is missing therightside hook that is attached to the window. Do you have one?
2. The lamp under the dash just above the middle vent the cover is missing Do you know which part I need?

I'm pretty sure that the dash light does not have a cover. My 85 is without one, and everyone I've seen is the same.

Hard to be sure with a photo, but, I'm betting on Bisquit, looks exactly like my 85.

http://www.captainjaguarscathouse.com/Trim_Codes.htm Try this link for the trim codes, should help. Now, to locate the trim code, look under the hood, on the passenger side, on the fender lip. There should be a small tag with the code on it. Let me know what you find out. On second look at your photos, yours might be a tad lighter than my Bisquit, so it could be the doeskin.

There is only one tag on the fender lip passanger side and it say Federal. I have not found this color listed anywhere.

OK, on my 85 XJ-6, the tag is on the small atachment where the ends of the black cross brace bolts to the fender. The label says: Jaguar, then below, Paint, and Trim. This is about a foot behind where the federal tag is located on my car.
