Question No high beam when activating inner steering column switch

I get no high beams when I lift the column switch, could it be a bad
relay by the radiator??????

1978 XJ6 ser.2
Thanks ,
Walter

lift or pull ?

to get the FLASH-TO-PASS function, you pull the stalk switch towards you.

to get the HIGH BEAMS you push it forward.

Unless it is different in your Series 2, which I doubt since I have two or three Series 2 stalk switches and they are the same as my Series 3.

The second step is to check the headlight fuses by rolling them in their contacts, or replacing them if bad.
