First things first. Your new, you said that, haha, so WELCOME. fun will be had, trust me, and as a bonus, your car will get sorted.
You say NO tail lights, OK, but do the number plate lamps work??, if so, then the globes are toast, if NO, then fuses. I would be taking a good look at the fuses. You will find a main fuse panel, above the drivers knees on our RHD cars, no idea on the LHD you have. Also we have a smaller fuse panel on the LH side, above the passengers knees. The panel that drops down has a diagram of what fuse does what circuit. I would not test the fuses, they are fickle at best, simply replace them with new fuses. Post back with what you find, or dont find, then we can keep diagnosing if needed. |
Dirty/loose/corroded fuses, fuse clips, connectors, and grounds often cause problems in the lighting circuits
The tail light fuses for your model are in the trunk, behind the trim panel at the forward bulkhead. A couple quarter-turn fasteners hold the panel in place. This might help Parking/Marker Lamp Circuit Checklist Cheers DD |
Thankyou sooo much. I found that it was a inline fuse. Sharon
