Default Plugs etc.

I am having new injector hoses put in and am told that it's a good idea to have the plugs changed while doing this. Any advice ? and anything else that should be done when doing these? I am advised to do them as they are original to the car (1988 xj12) and although there are no visible cracks... !!!

If you wanna go whole hog replace the cap, rotor, and wires as well. Have them make sure the vacuum advance works and that the mechanical advance isn't stuck...both common problems.

Cheers

When it comes to maintenance for me I always say if it inexpensive its just foolish not to replace the part. It would be like removing the head on the engine and reusing the old gasket. The part is cheap it is just foolish not to buy a new gasket.

Just my two cents worth
