Quick transmission question

Hey guys, I've got a quick question:
Were any of the XJs (particularly the series 1 or 2 or the XJ coupe) ever offered in the U.S. with a stick shift?

Thanks.

maybe by special order, but I've never seen one. They were common in the UK,
Canada, and Australia, but not in the US.

RE: Quick transmission question

About ten years ago had a customer in Dallas looking for clutch parts for his Series 1. Only one I've every heard about in the US.

Ahhh, how did he get his clutch?

RE: Quick transmission question

I believe he ordered from somewhere in the UK. The manual transmissions were common in Europe in the Series 1 & 2 models. As were vinyl seats, crank windows, no sunroofs, and no a/c.
