Retractable radio antenna mast search

The XJS has a "normal" arrangement for the antenna, ie there is a lot of space inside the inner wing and you can fit pretty much any electric antenna in the space.
The XJ saloons have a rather more involved arrangement where the antenna is spilt into 2 parts..... The mast and the motor. The mast fits just into the space available in the wing, squeezed in there between the fuel tank and the rear light. The motor lives in the trunk in the cavity where the spare wheel is. They are connected by a long cable which you have to thread through.
I recently replaced the antenna on my series 3 so they are still available but from memory I think it was pretty extensive, like $150

Sarc, thanks for your response. I believe the Series II Coupe has the same antenna mast/motor set-up as the Series III - with the collapsed mast fitting into the end of the rear wing and the cable attached to a motor in the trunk cavity. You suggest that a Series III mast would be compatible with a Series II one. I wonder if an early XJS mast would also work? Dave
