Roof Bars

Hello

I was wondering if anyone here has ever installed a set of roof bars on their series 3 XJ6, i am considering purchasing a kayak and the XJ6 would be perfect to use for trips down to the bay/river etc...

I have looked at a few online suppliers but as always it is good to hear from someone who has an unbiased first hand experience with a particular product.

Thanks

Russell

I have a set of these feet and the bars that you see pictured there also. Work great (but not the most attractive accessory). You basically need any rack that is designed to work on a car with gutters (which is unusual these days).

Hi Russell....
I've got a buddy that was lucky enough to find the original rack set offered by Jaguar in the 80s...
Just looking for a photo of it, I found the info provided by the Concours rule book that allowed those accessories, with a photo of the racks..
Interesting read if nothing else...

Yakima makes a system that will attach to the drip rails. Their website will walk you through getting the ones for your car.
