Default S1 Oil pressure gauge not working

The oil pressure gauge on my S1 has stop working. It sometimes comes up to full pressure on start up but then goes back to zero once the engine is hot. Engine oil level shows full on the dip stick. Is this a sensor/sender issue? Is there an easy fix?

Thanks guys

With luck, yes. The sensors are finicky. Best is use a mechanical guage to verify correct oil pressure. If Ok, get a good used one or a NOS unit from David Boger.

I had a similar issue. I used a non Jaguar unit and it worked just fine. From a Sun Pro
Supplemental set. But, a genuine NOS from Sir Boger is in now and likely good for another 25 or so years!!!

The after market is in my box as a diagnostic tool. I got it when looking for a mechanical unit that I did not find!!!
