seek help! jaguar 1988 xj6 can not start.

Hello:

My car is 1988 xj6, it parking as long time as hard to start, I already change the fuel filter, and the spark plug was fine. Now, if it stop less than 10 hours is no problem to start at all. After 10 hours depend on fate... So what can cause that problem?

I fed up with everyday start my car like a gamble, please help ! :mad:

Fuel pump. Check fuel pressure.

The pump, I think is externally mounted, so under the back near the tank. This is the one I think.

thanks lot, i just bought the best spark plug and fuel pump i will change them, i hope it'll be ok~

The fuel pump is inside the frame rail just ahead of the RH rear wheel.
