Hi all:

When I bought my '71, the upholstery/cladding that would typically surround and shroud the steering column had recently been removed to service something. I have all the parts and would like to put it back together. I would appreciate a few photos posted by someone whose car has these parts installed, including the shelf and the tunnel-side pieces. If one of you has time to snap a few photos and post them, I'd appreciate it.

Hi David, hope these pics help. Others can be got, no problem.


One tricky thing is the really cheap felt that sits between the shelf and the console. Mine is in tatters but I can't see a work around as you need access to under the steering wheel for indicator relays and stuff. If you find a cunning material to use that would finish it off, would love to learn what you did.
