Default Series 1 XJ6 Weber Conversion

Does anyone have a linkage configuration schematic for converting from ZS carbs over to the 32/36 DGAV Weber carbs? Or any experience regarding this conversion on a 1973 XJ6?. I have the conversion kit but there are no illustrations and for expediency I would like to know how to configure so that my installation will be rapid. Need to get car back on road quickly.

I haven't figured out how to thank all respondents yet but know that all help will be much appreciated.

I used this setup before restoration. Haven't re-configured yet. It worked well.

Mine turned out pretty much like geneo's. It was complicated a bit because I have a 700r4 transmission that requires some special linkage considerations. One thing to make extra certain of is the individual throttle arms are all identical in lenght before twisting any scres on the carbs. I learned this the hard way.

My 1973 has a secondary throttle unit. Do the butterfly valves need to be removed or did the housing get removed in your setup?

Hi I am new to the forum and I have a 1977 XJ6C series ll. does anyone have an illustrations or details on how to remove the original Zenith cd175 carbs and install the new weber conversions. I bought the kit on line but comes with no instructions at all. I am going to use automatic choke with the webers so Do I remove the water manifold or leave it on and connect the new carbs to it. I have owned the car for over 25 years but has been in storage for the past 15. It is is great shape just need to get it running again. Thanks for any help anyone can give me Dave
