Hi I am a first time Jaguar owner and have been having a little trouble having a new sound system installed without rewiring the whole system. After deciding to take my time with this project I decided I would just install some new speakers myself in the rear door panels of my 1990 XJ6. After inspecting the vehicle I am not see ing any of the standard screws or grommets that would keep the door panel attched. If anyone can advise me ron this matter I would greatly appreciate it. I am very excited about me new car and am looking forward to years of enjoyment from it.

Hi Mark,

congrats on your new purchase. You should probably post your question on the XJ-40 list, as your year model falls in that range. I'm sure someone can help you along.
