If you do a search on the Forum for after-market springs, tips, and lots of "how to's" on suspensions and lowering, you'll be pretty well set to make a decision.

check out my post on this custom xj6, in the post I also have a link to their website where they have for sale a number of their suspension parts. You do not want to use lowering springs but rather an adjustable coil over setup so you still have good travel.

I'm using the King lowering springs in the front of my LS swapped XJ6 to regain a more normal stance due to the lighter engine weight, plus the fact that both my stock springs where broken.

The Excessive Manufacturing setup is a good value when you consider you are getting new coil overs, and all of the complete setup https://xcessivemanufacturing.com/ja...nsion-756.html
the improvement to the handling and adjustability is well worth it in my opinion. I've done lowering springs before and the coil over setup is so much nicer in performance, ability to adjust and get the perfect stance you want, and the adjustability to tune it to match your desires. You can easily find a local shop to do the minor modifications to install it, so if you can stretch your budget a bit you would get a new suspension far better than you can tweak the stock design.
