Does anybody have a pic of the correct one for each for a 1982 xj6 series 3?

 

These engine mounts are S1 and the trans mount is 86/87 (S2), maybe S3 are the same. Somebody will confirm or have the right pics.
Trans mount in my S1 parts book looks the same as S2.

That depends on where you source your parts and if you are going to fit them yourself.
Try SNG Barret or Everday XJ for parts prices, or do a quick search of ebay.

 

the gearbox mount is the same as my S2, i replaced all the rubbers for it including the cotton reel rubber cheaper than importing from a supplier in Sydney, he posts out same day order & you deposit the money into his account after you receive the goods>>> Geoff Sara (jagara spares) 51 Captain Cook Dr, Caringbah NSW 2229

John's Cars, in Texas, has polyurethane transmission mounts for automatic and manual transmissions.
Also for the steering rack.
Oil will not degrade them and they are slightly stiffer.
