V12 starter
I often mention that I have starters and alternators overhauled locally rather than buying off-the-shelf. I've had great results.
However, I knew my luck would eventually run out. And it did.
The starter on my V12 packed in and was too far gone for the local guy to revive it. My local NAPA Auto Parts was able to get one for me, however. Part# RAY2448154

Fit perfectly, works well. Time will tell how long it holds up. I did have to change the terminal/connector on the solenoid wire but that's very commonplace on replacement starters.
Just thought I'd pass along the supplier and part number for future reference
Cheers
