What spark plug for series 2 xj6?
 

What are your guys recommendations for new plugs for my series 2 xj6, google told me BPR5ES NGK but im not sure if thats right or not.

I don't particularly want the most expensive plug id rather the cheapest haha


also what should i gap them at?

I use NGK BP6EY, and always have, no issues.

awesome thanks ill get some of them :) thought it was time i gave them a change there not looking to flash. I fixed that oil leak the other day where it was leaking at the oil return line or whatever line it is from the oil filter to the sump where that oring is.

Was not as easy as i thought taking that pipe out because the hose at the top i had to cut then trying to get a new hose on when the pipe was down in the sump was so hard but i think the leak has stopped :)

Seconded, a fine car. But, now some of the rust protection has been lost!!!

Caveat about publishing pictures of that beautiful country and the fine weather.

The folks in SOCA rued the day that nationwide TV broadcast the Rose Bowl Paradfe and Football game in lovely Pasadena in January. Sunshine while the folks back east were fighting snow. Too many just packed up and went West. Spoiled everything.

We lived in SOCAl 63-75. Fantastic winters. Summer brought in the SMOG, not good atall. But, if one knew just where to live, OK.

Thanks guys, I live in New Zealand and I actually live in a city where these photos were taken :P Although a city here and for me is not what most people would think is a city. My home town i grew up in had 1-2 thousand people for most my life.

and surprisingly it doesnt actually have any rust yet. 3 minor bubbles came up in the front guards but was sanded back to bare metal and was surface rust and easily sanded back to bare metal then i painted it with some colour matching paint. the guy i brought it from was what i would call a collector and it sat in his garage with 3 other brand new looking flash jaguars he had it for many years. I've still got the receipt for when it was sold from the dealer here to the first NZ owner.

Nice spot, My sister lives in Blenheim. So, is that Motueka in the distant background,my Grandfather used to take me fishing there in the 70's.

You car may have been assembled in Nelson.
