Where would I find the power steering reservoir on an 88 XJ12 Series III?

normally at the front of the engine, and towards the passenger side of the engine.
if you follow the Belts, one of the belts is the power steering belt and the fluid container is where the belt goes around the container's Pulley.
The container is normally a black bottle with a black cap with ribs or "scallops" around it. You only check the fluid when engine is OFF.

Hard to see and reach on a V12. Left side of engine; approximately below the left upper radiator hose. You can just reach the cap if you have small hands. You'll need a long funnel. Check with the engine cool so you don't have to maneuver around the radiator hose when it is hot!
