I remember this business, it has been around since the 1990s. At some point I lost their site address. He has some rare hardware for Jaguar.

Sorry to revive an old thread. A buddy of mine has a series 3 with wiper issues and I was wondering if anybody has done the relay mod and had any input with it?

I need to pull the entire wiper assembly out and prefer to do it all at once and be done with it.

 

the only one that figured it is member LT1.

 

Here's my thread, I haven't got my S3 on the road yet, but the wipers seemed "more spirited" after the upgrade. Not a hard project, but tedious. Figuring out where you are going to put the relays and where you will access the ground and 12v sources will be a key player. Good Luck.

Thank you Jose and Dave for your quick response! I’m going to forward him your link and see if he wants me to proceed doing this modification seeing as he doesn’t drive the car much. However, he wants to drive the car much more frequently but I told him RainX should be the quick and easy answer to give him some peace of mind in the interim.
