Hi all i was just wondering if the xj6 s3 front guards are the same as the xj6 s2 had a unfortunate experiance with a wallaby and can only find a s3 guard for a replacement i dont really want to have a bogged pannel

 

The S2 front wings have a rectangular aperture for the turn indicator, which the S3 doesn't have as the indicator was mounted in the bumper.


For my XJ Series 3 rebuild in the early 90s, I managed to get a pair of S2 wings and had the rectangular holes welded shut, but going the other way would be slightly more awkward, but not impossible. You'd have to cut the holes for the indicators in the right place.
