Hi! Which motor oil is best recommended for the 2.8 Series 1 jag?
The manual indicates some outdated types/brands. I would like to know the best modern equivalent to these and the type of oil that best suits this engine, synthetic or mineral? 10w30, 20w40...?

Nothing exotic needed. Mineral oil still serves well. If your clime is moderate, 20-50 performs well. Just chose whatever major brand is on sale, it will do just fine.

Agreed, 20W50 is all that XK engine needs.
