Xjc carb issues

I have been having issues with my carbs. i dont know if they are set up correctly and if the fuel is going to all the right places.
im also having an issue, not all the time and i dont know what it is, fuel just out of nowhere just starts spilling out of what u think is the rear carb. seems to happen randomly more so when hot.

here a video of the on of the issues im having.
when i lift the piston on the right it stumbles but stays alive.
when i lift just a small amount on the left one dies immediately.
i checked the needles and they seem to be set up correctly. does the back one use more fuel?

carbs

Polish everything, pistons/slides/needles, make sure needles are same level & secure, replace the oil, I blended my own so i know it has 20SAE, final step is getting them in sync.......providing you're certain float levels etc is all good......Tom

They look like Strombergs to me.

The diaphragm under the top lid is prone to splitting, and that reeks havoc.

The hoses look ordinary, so new hoses and clamps would be a good idea. That "may" be the fuel spillage.

The float levels may be too high, that also will give fuel spillage.

They look like no maintenance/service has been done on them for a very long time, and that may be all they need.

New needle and seats, diaphragms, general clean of all the carbon and gunk that occurs, and then retune.

I have not played with Strombergs for 25+ years, so my memory is fuzzy at best.
