Air con pump o rings
Could anyone tell me if the two large o rings that are recessed into the back of the air con pump, where the pipes bolt upto are indeed just normal o rings? Had a look on jag heritage but no mention of them. Any diagrams or part numbers gratefully received. Many thanks in advance |
They will be viton or neoprene for air conditioning.

If you buy the ring kit, you'll get the two rings. They are just normal rubber. The kit costs something like €10... So like £8 or $13...

Brinny,
I forget, which year and model do you have? Certainly the 4 litre seals are on the Jaguar website. I changed mine last year. Paul |
It is the 89 5.3 |
SNG has them...

Found them. Many thanks all |
This thread made me think 'Bugger, I ordered the wrong seal kit'
And yes, I did, but who cares when the wrong parts look so right ! New parts immidiately ordered... https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.jag...d5de502aa2.jpg |
The compressor for the 5.3 V12's is commonly called an A6. Those or rings are quite common in many AC o ring kits, as GM cars used millions of those compressors.
