Blink codes
 

Hi all, did the blink code test and she gave me a right front wheel sensor 32. Only code that came up. Does this mean that other than numbers in the thirties, I’m clear? Or could others appear still? Thanks

I think you're correct. When you run the test, it produces codes with a 6.5 second gap between them. Also, as you've understood, it can only show the lowest code of each number group.

So you may have more 30-series codes higher than 32, but you have to clear 32 before the next one can appear.

Maybe run the test again but allow a longer time to ensure you are picking up any codes other than 32.

I re did the test this morning and got the same result. Left it plenty long enough after the first code but nothing else so my next question, the speed sensor in question was replaced during front suspension rebuild with a second hand one. I’ve had a quick look and there are a few breaks in the insulation but the wire and shield looks intact. Before I find a replacement are there any things to check first. Will paint prevent a signal stuff like that. Can the sensor be checked for continuity? Many thanks in advance
