what should my diff tag say if I have a 2.88 diff,

2.88......

literally , there are a couple of tags, one for the ratio , one for the power loc feature, and one for the serial number

All the 2.88 diff I have seen the tag actually has 2.87 on it. The one I have in the shop on a stand is stamped 2.87, could just be a North America thing.
