Dragging rear brakes ?

Any ideas about dragging rear brakes on our '94 XJS? It's not the parking brake. Not sticking sliding calipers. Collapsed flexible brake lines suspected and replaced to no avail. It appears almost like the brake line pressure fails to release after application. Fronts are fine. We're stumped. Thanks!

Are yo sure you haven't dropped the shims from the dif housing?
(Shims from diff housing to caliper rail)

Or maybe these are outer mounted rotors?

94 has rear outboard brakes. It’s possible your solenoids up front are plugged are not working. There are some great threads on here about troubleshooting the TEVES II system, and repairing the solenoids.

Are you 100% sure it's not a dragging handbrake? I have found them very difficult to adjust to obtain a functional handbrake, and yet not drag, even with the IRS out of the car.

This was my problem too when I overhauled my brakes.
