Efficient route to run wire from engine compartment to battery?
Wiring a fan controller directly to the battery. Anyone have experience with a location to run wiring from the engine compartment to the trunk of the car where the battery is located?
Once I'm in the cab I think I can handle it but I'm stuck at the firewall. Any help is appreciated. |
If you mean engine bay fans, there are 2 positive terminals on the firewall behind the cam covers in the engine bay, DEPENDING ON THE MODEL of XJS.

I have a 1987 XJS, installing a fan controller for a new 16'' electric rad fan.

Hi Connor
Here it is right at the end of the Yellow Screwdriver Handle, under a rubber Cover and there should be one on the other side too. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.jag...b4e2a6fb1d.jpg The 12volt Firewall Terminal is at the end of the handle of the Yellow Screwdriver under a rubber cover. |
How about some help with your model year and engine?
