How do I get at the automatic box to change the fluid?
Can't see much under there as don't have a lift nor a pit. Does it get refilled from inside the cab or underneath?
TIA for any guidance. (XJS V12 - no Model Year in forum user profile - GGG) |
You might want to add what kind of car you have and maybe post in the appropriate tech section.

TIA for any guidance. (XJS V12 - no Model Year in forum user profile - GGG) In the engine bay, on the passenger side near the fire wall is the dip stick for the transmission fluid. You add fluid there. If you want to replace the fluid and filter then you need to remove the transmission pan. There is no drain plug so the only way to remove the old fluid is to drop the pan.
