Default HVAC vacuum resivior lines

So I just found a line off at the resivior. I have two connections...one going towards the console and the other is has about 12 inches of line connected to nothing and not capped. I can't find a vac routing diagram for the HVAC. Anyone know where these two go? Looks like vac is supplied through a third rubber line that comes out under the brake accumulator and isn't connected directly to the resivior but to the HVAC unit.

If your car is a V12, then if it is like mine, there are two vac lines into the engine bay via the cover above the vac reservoir. One goes to the heater valve - this line comes direct from the aircon unit and does not come out of the vac reservoir. The second comes out of the vac reservoir and goes to the end of the inlet manifold, via a one way valve to preserve the vac in the reservoir at WOT, which is the source of the vac.

So I don't have another connector open off the rear of the intake. I have a small red vac line going to the ignition ECU (prolly not on an 85,) a large black one you describe not on the resivior going to a check valve to intake , and one from the resivior to nothing. Wonder where the other vacuum line should be? I don't see anything open.

There should be a small free spigot somewhere on the end of one of the the inlet manifolds. If not, just connect it with a Y piece to one of the vac tubes coming off the manifold. I suggest you put the model details on your signature, by the way.
