Missouri, USA. I know I will probably have to ship it. They want $200 for a new clutch master cylinder. I saw a free posts about rebuild kits and thought I’d go that route. The car has 86000 miles on it
where is the slave cylinder located. I think I am ready to bleed the clutch. I found the leak on the master cylinder( the reservoir was had a crack) fixed it and cleaned the cylinder out. It builds up pressure on the my desk. I can not locate the slave cylinder though. As I have said before I work on vintage US cars.
That switch on your steering column looks a lot like the "valet switch" for the alarm on my car - 91my - cant tell if its in the same place though. I'd guess that's what it is.

i dont know what a valet switch is. Does it turn off the alarm? I hooked the alarm system up and it chirps every couple of seconds
Well done Bro but what was wrong and how did you fix it?
There were clogs of built up “mud” in all the lines and in the master cylinder. I used a vacuum pump to to pull from both directions and it slowly broke the mud loose. After that I flushed the system by bleeding every connection from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder. I continued to bleed the system until only new clean guild came out.
The leak at the master cylinder was a small crack in the reservoir cases by the rivets being pulled to tight at assembly. I cleaned and epoxied the crack.
It it took a couple hours to bleed the system and two days for the epoxy to fully harden. The jag runs better the more it’s let to run.
