Georgous engine but that bonnet... Ouch!

Would have been a lot easier to say fit a later bonnet and use the gain in "headroom" in there for a cold air intake from above the radiator...

But wow! I'd love to do that conversion!

It could be worse, at least it doesn't have a leaper.

What will those Webers do other than drink fuel, if the engine is standard?

If it has the standard EFI cams, then not really that well. Should have some cams from a carbed model, then it would perform and be tweakable.

I don't know why people put webbers on instead of FI. The fuel has much further to travel down the intake allowing more opportunity to drop out of suspension. Use more fuel for same power = BSFC

Not to mention the cylinder washing causing the engine to wear faster, the complication of syncing all the carbs, the potential maintenance of all of those carbs, etc.
