New sound from my XJS. But it's all good!
No trouble here. Just a note singing the praises of those engineers who designed this suspension.
Today, while approaching the office, construction crews were setting up and blocked the road I was planning to turn on. I was just at the entrance of a parking lot before the construction so I jammed in the brakes, cut her hard right and went in. As I did, the front tires chirped. I sat straight up wide-eyed. It took a moment before what the sound was registered in my brain.
I realized that in 7 months driving this car, sometimes hard, sometimes in polished concrete floored parking garages, in rain and all sorts of conditions, I had never heard a peep from the front tires! Amazing!
Damn fine work gentlemen, wherever you are now!
