Default One of them lucky finds on E-Bay

Was just looking and searching for some things on Ebay and found this. bought it right off for $22.oo and had free shipping





NOS for crossover pipe, this was just one of them lucky finds

Not really, they are all over e-bay, just search 20 psi radiator cap.

it fits the XJS, tons of them out there, nothing magical about the center pipe cap. Mine has had a standard run of the mill stant cap on it for 8 years.

Jaguar heritage sell these direct from Jaguar for £9.00 UK , brand new

part number CCC6707 ( £6.89 plus 20% VAT )

Tidbit: the caps on my '88 V12 are stamped "Jaguar". And the one for the header tank has that little tether. I think that's sorta cool

I wonder if the new caps from JDHT are also stamped?

no, the new caps are not ' Jaguar ' stamped, and thats a shame to be honest

the top cap and the expansion tank are different pressures though , hence the tethered cap so it doesn't go on the wrong place

Did the US market cars have cap instructions like mine ? ( genuine Jaguar cap underneath )

my tether was still on mine so a drilled a small hole in my cap and attached it.

Jaguar heritage parts in UK now list same part number for both caps CCC6707

Not directly related, but all of the XJSs I've bought have had a black oil filler cap. Where do you guys get the red ones??

I actually painted mine universal engine red because I was tired of misplacing it! Kind of hard to misplace it when it's red!
