passenger side clamps under carpet???? 88 xjs
What in the world? Under carpet down by ones heel, are these 2
welded to the floor clamps of some kind. Would like to utilize
if i knew what, how, why, rght now they just make the carpet
messy looking.

If you have original underlay there are holes there for these clamps, the underlay has velcro which then holds the mat in place.
