Possible Coolant leak

Took her out for a drive, noticed steam/smoke coming from the drivers side wheel well... And a blue/green watery substance under the car. No oil burning smell... Is this a coolant leak?

The overflow tank is in the LHS front wheel well behind the rear baffle, and the header tank is on that side of the car in the engine bay against the inner wing. This is certainly coolant (assuming you have green antifreeze). Maybe a perforated header tank, or a perforated tube from header to overflow tank, or a cracked overflow tank? Got to get in there and look, but pressurising the system with a test kit (not very expensive) will pinpoint it.

Also if you find its simply a worn out rad cap(s) I strongly recommend ordering direct from Jaguar in the UK, they'll ship it back through time across planet earth in a day and they are rock solid. Not like the crap "interchange part" I bought at Napa.

Hoses

It seems that the hoses all need to be replaced for the coolant. Apparently they are no longer produced...

Yes they are, and all the specialists stock them.

Thank you. I ended up replacing all the hoses. Now runs like a champ... Just need this snow to clear and Spring to Sprung.
