Default Radio in-line fuses

I have a 1994 XJS 4.0L with a dead radio. A friend was going to jump start my XJS and hooked the jumper up backward. The only thing that seemed to happen was that the radio is now without power.
I have looked for the two in-line fuses shown on the wiring diagram and cannot find them. They are supposed to be located somewhere in the center console, but I have taken most of it apart and find no inline fuses.
Am I on the right track here, or off in the weeds...

Any advice will be very appreciated.

As I recall, you pull out the radio and the fuse is behind, part of the radio harness.

How do you 'pull out' the radio...? Sounds easier than I imagine it is...

Pull off the air con knobs and unscrew the locking rings. Remove the fascia plate and then you'll be able to remove the radio. It's quite easy

Hello, I noticed you had the same problem as I do, with the radio and mine is a "94 XJS also. Iam wondering if you found the inline fuse? I think mine is in the trunk, as I remember. Not sure if this is the original location as the previous owner put in a new cd changer.
