Rear anti roll bar

With regard to the rear anti roll bar would anyone know if replacement drop link bushes are available as opposed to replacing the whole thing.? I have looked for polybushes and can’t find a replacement, is it possible to make your own? Or does anyone know of uk suppliers. Don’t really want to buy new from jaguar at 55 pounds plus vat and postage each side or cheapo that won’t last 2 minutes. Any help with suppliers etc gratefully received. All uk based ideally. Many thanks

You can replace the whole drop link with adjustable heim joints .

Manners and John Gordon's stuff is usually pretty good Brinny. Try these:
Manners 31 quid

or the 35 quid opiion

The part number is C10940

I replaced them and I'm pretty sure I was able to buy new from Jaguar....but without checking my notes I'm not 100% certain.

For poly bushings....

The drop links are the same use on the XKEs. That opens up more searching possibilities

C10940 has been used on lots of cars over the years. If you want poly bushes, talk to Rob Beere in Coventry, I believe they have them.

Doug
I have part number C42907 from my searches. These are available from Jaguar but as huge cost as the OP mentioned. My links are this same part number but miles cheaper.

Your number is listed by JCP as a front ARB drop link for the Daimler limo.

It's just the Metalastic bush. The drop link assembly with the bushes installed is different.

Right, C10940 is the bushing, #26 in this illustration but used on many models besides the limo

C42907 is the entire link, #6 in this illustration

Thanks Doug. So if the Op has the metal bit already, all he needs to do is buy the rubber, which is cheap.

Right. And they're a snap to install. A bit of Syl-glide and squeeze 'em into place with your bench vise.

Removing the old ones is what takes the time :)
