Rear Seat Rub

I did fix mine last summer. I posted the fix but I don't know how to direct you to the post, so will try again. Remove the seat back and pull the post cover up. It will come off easily enough. The belt runs over a metal loop made of about 5/16"diameter steel rod. I used an electric 4" abrasive saw and cut the loop off close to the post on both sides. (a hacksaw will work)Careful not to damage the belt. Shorten the loop about 3/8" at each end and weld it back on or have a welder do it. Again be careful to cover all plastic and fabric to protest from weld splatter, including the headliner, which will be close to the weld point. Then just re-install the post cap and the top will not hit any more. Most of the problem seems to be on the left side. I didn't have to do the right as it wasn't hitting.
Easy fix if you have to tools and not very expensive even to have it done. 30 minute job.

The window does not seem to hit the post cover. It is hitting the seatback. And yes it only seems to be the right side. Thanks
